Pass or Fail??

Just came back from penang last nite. went there for a trip to essilor-lens manufacturing company..departed at 9am from kuantn, stayed at RECSAM for a nite, checkout at 8am and heading to the company. For me, trip to essilor is just like a revision of Ophthalmic Dispensing 2.Back then, al of us in the class have to imagine how the lenses are made-the blocking, grinding, fining, polishing etc. We didnt had any clue how the machine, mould and the processes look like.Imagination become the primary source of learning. So, yesterday was like a recap of what we had learnt..like a justification of our imaginary thoughts of the machines and stuff.
However, this come into mind..do i really need to know all this things? is it important? only if i want to join the industrial part..only if..which is very unlikely..i guess
dia should hv join us..i bet he would love to see how 'Utara' looks like..

The greatest daymare (bcoz it happen in the day) of every optom student hv passed: The Skill Test
Why is it a daymare? coz this is when we would be 'maki'ed hamun and 'marah'ed..if we do the procedures incorrect. but of course its worth to be blamed. However, some of us did do the right thing, but still, they're being %$^%&*&(*) by some supervisors becoz it wasnt done in their way, which is so unfair becoz we learnt it from other people. You see, refaction is a combination of art and science (prof faudziah, 2006-2008). For me, as long as the protocol is strictly followed, and the goal is achieved, one can do it in ones own way.
As for the result, some of us fail (due to their own fault or the supervisor's fault) and hv to repeat the test..and some of us got pass. Hopefully, they will pass on the second test. I was lucky that time. My supervisor is very supportive even though i forgot some of the procedures ;p
p/s: suke berjln2 d utara..rs sgt dekat dgn kampung..lebuhraya die pon x bosan
